New for 2007 -Teng Tools - working with winners! The Speedway Riders Association is delighted to announce a sponsorship deal for 2007 with Tool Company TENG TOOLS. Teng Tools is one of the leading suppliers of hand tools across Europe with many stockists supplying their range of mechanic type hand tools to automotive and industrial technicians. They see the link with professional speedway riders as a perfect media for brand exposure to potential stockists and end users, but also use feedback from the riders and mechanics to develop new tools and further improve existing products. Teng Tools have been involved with speedway for many years, originally having been introduced to the sport by the late great Simon Wigg. Today they have over 70 riders using their products including 7 of the last 9 world champions and, during 2006, had sponsorship deals in place with Coventry Bees, Peterborough Panthers and Reading Bulldogs as well as many of the top Grand Prix riders. In 2007 they plan to use the SRA sponsorship package to build on these partnerships and to give the young, up and coming riders the opportunity to use the same level of equipment in the pits and workshop as many of the top riders. As a result, you can expect to see the ‘Teng Eyes’ at just about every Speedway meeting this season! During 2007, TENG TOOLS have offered to sponsor every single SRA member at the levels highlighted below. In return, the SRA hope to provide TENG TOOLS with maximum exposure through their riders and association. The foundations have been laid for a very happy partnership between the SRA and TENG, with riders knowing that they will have the best tools in their mechanics hands to do the job. The SRA hope that this deal will encourage all riders to join their association to build on the working relationship with the BSPA. 2007 SRA sponsorship scheme In return for putting the Teng logo on the rear wheel spoilers, and the riders race suit and/or bike cover, Teng will sponsor SRA members with tools from their catalogue at the following discounts - Elite League heat leaders/Grand Prix riders - 60% discount off the published list price Premier League heat leaders - 55% discount off the published list price Conference League heat leaders - 45% discount off the published list price Uncontracted riders - 35% discount off the published list price |
